Carter & Cavero, Old World Olive Oil Company To Host a Food Tasting Event with Local Chef March 26, 2011

Carter & Cavero, with the help of local restaurants, will be hosting Sensational Salts Weekends in all three of their New Jersey
locations.  The events will give the public a chance to taste chef prepared dishes featuring Carter & Cavero’s new and unique
line of salts from around the world.  The events are scheduled for March 19-20 and March 26, 2011.  
 
LONG BRANCH, NJ
Saturday, March 19th from 1pm to 3pm: Chef Dominique Filoni from Avenue in Pier Village/ Long Branch will be at the Carter
& Cavero Pier Village store located at 36 Centennial Drive.  Pastry Chef Beverly Shoenberger from Cake, Bake & Roll .

RED BANK, NJ
Sunday, March 20th from 1pm to 3pm: Chef Anthony Ferrando from Dish in Red Bank and Chef George Lyristis from The
Bistro at Red Bank will be at the Carter & Cavero store located at 19 Monmouth Street.

PRINCETON, NJ
Saturday, March 26th from 2pm to 4pm: Chef Luis Bollo from Mediterra in Princeton will be at the Carter & Cavero Palmer
Square store located at 27 Palmer Square West.  Luis Bollo, executive chef of Mediterra restaurant in Princeton, New Jersey is trained in Spain and specializes in  Basque/French cuisine.  His unique style of Mediterranean cuisine comes from his vast experience and training in Michelin rated hotels and restaurants throughout Europe. Chef Luis Bollo was awarded Chef of the Year in the 2003
Square Magazine Best Chefs & Restaurants Awards. 
 
Our new line of gourmet sea salts will hit the shelves in Carter & Cavero’s stores in early March.  Admission is open to the
